FAQs

1) Do we supply the general public?

Unfortunately we only supply the trade, however many of our products are available from home stores nationwide and online retailers. If you need any help locating a stockist please call our head office on 0113 201 8800 and a member of the sales team will be happy to help.

2) I am a new customer, how can I buy from you?

It's very easy.. all you need to do is click the banner at the bottom of the screen to "register for a trade account". There is a small form to complete and once this has been reviewed by our accounts team we will send a full application form to be completed and returned at your earliest convenience.

3) I already have an account how do I Log In?

If you have not received your log in details, please call a member of our sales team and we will get these to you immediately.

4) What is the minimum order value and how much is carriage?

The minimum order value is £100 ex vat, for orders less than £100 a £10 administration fee will be added to the order.

Carriage is free of charge to the UK providing the in stock value of the order is over £400 ex vat (this does not include Offshore and the Scottish Highlands). For orders less than £400 we will make sure carriage is kept to a bare minimum and is calculated once we have processed your order through the warehouse, the sales team can inform you of the final amount if you require.

5) Is the item in stock?

If you have an account with ourselves you will be able to "Log In" to our site and view our stock availability on all lines.

If the item is "out of stock" and there is a quantity "at sea" it can still be ordered and be delivered to you with in the next four weeks. If the availability is showing "more in production" the delivery time on this stock can be anything from 4-16 weeks. If you would like more information about a specific item and it's stock status, please contact our sales team.

6) How can I see your wonderful products in person?

Over in Leeds, West Yorkshire we have four large showrooms that are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Visits are by appointment only, and these can be made with our sales team on 0113 201 8800.

Alternatively our sales representatives are travelling the country every week, and a time can easily be arranged with them to visit your premises when they are next in your area.

7) I am not based in the UK, do you accept foreign currency?

All prices shown on the site are in GBP Sterling excluding vat. Unfortunately we only accept this currency at the moment.

8) Do you accept returns?

We hope you never want to return any of our products, however if the unlikely circumstance ever crops up we do have a returns policy.

For any items that are returned unfaulty there will be a 10% restocking fee, and return carriage will be at the buyers cost. In some cases if the value of the returned goods was the majority of the order you placed we may have to also charge for the initial delivery to yourselves. We do not like to set out such strict procedures however we are a business to business wholesale company and work on extremely tight margins in order to give our customers the best prices, and simply cannot afford the cost that goes with unwanted items.

9) I love your images can I use them too?

Here at Riva we like to share! We spend a lot of time making sure our imagery is the best example of the product and the quality is as good as the item itself.

So providing you have purchased the item you would like to use an image of, all you need to do is click on the image on the product detail page and it will open a new tab with a larger version, then just right click on it and press "save image". The resolution should be high enough quality to use on the internet and small printed literature, however if you would like a higher resolution image please contact us and we will arrange this to be sent to you.

10) Can you manufacture and supply exclusive product?

Of course we can! As well as supplying many independent boutique stores, we also supply many multi chain retailers across the globe and produce exclusive product under our brand or their own if they require. Due to the product being exclusive to the buyer there is minimum order quantities which can differ based on the product and the requirement.

Not only can our in house design department develop your exclusive products, they can also help with your packaging and branding too.
